The Challenge
Egg-laying poultry operation faced ±15°C internal temperature swings between summer (40°C ambient) and winter (-25°C ambient), causing egg production drop from 95% to 78% in extreme months. HVAC was largest non-feed expense.
Our Solution
JYYJ-H800 hydraulic spray at 36 MPa with 2-14 kg/min throughput completed 1 poultry house every 3 days, allowing rolling production schedule. Applied 60mm closed-cell PU foam at 36 kg/m³ on roof + walls. Pioneer All-Water A-component with low-odor profile permitted continued operations.
What Pioneer Delivered
Not just a machine — a matched system, a trained crew on site, and after-sales backing end to end.
- An on-site survey of all 8 houses mapping bird density, ventilation openings and steel condition before any spray — so foam thickness and penetration detailing were planned, not improvised.
- A single-source system — JYYJ-H800 machine and matched All-Water foam chemistry tuned and warranted together, not a sprayer, a foam and a chemical bought from three suppliers who blame each other.
- A spray crew trained to hold consistent 60 mm thickness and clean self-flashing around vents — the hard part of spray foam is the operator, and we own that skill.
- QA on density and thickness plus a rolling, one-house-every-three-days schedule built around the customer's production window — birds kept laying in 7 houses while the 8th was sprayed.
- Ongoing remote support for climate-control tuning and easy re-order of the exact matched foam system — extending or repairing the envelope is a phone call, not a new project.
Execution Process
-
1 · Substrate Prep & Site Survey
Clean and degrease the roof and wall steel of each poultry house, removing dust, droppings residue and loose scale. Bird density and ventilation-fan openings are mapped so foam thickness and penetration detailing are planned house by house.
-
2 · Machine Setup & Foam Calibration
Bring the JYYJ-H800 hydraulic unit up to 36 MPa and preheat A and B components, then shoot test panels to verify 36 kg/m³ closed-cell density and a low-odor cure profile. Pioneer All-Water A-component is selected so adjacent houses can keep birds in production.
-
3 · Spray Application 60 mm
Apply 60 mm of seamless closed-cell PU foam to roof and walls with the JYYJ-H800 at 36 MPa and 2-14 kg/min, self-flashing around vents and structural ribs to kill thermal bridges. A 3-person crew completes one full poultry house every three days on a rolling schedule.
-
4 · Cure & Return to Production
Closed-cell foam is tack-free within minutes and fully cured the same day, with the low-odor chemistry letting birds repopulate quickly. Thickness and adhesion are spot-checked before the crew rolls to the next house in the rotation.

Why This Model Is Commonly Selected
The JYYJ-H-V8 is the high-output flagship (32 kW motor, up to 2–15 kg/min at 36 MPa), commonly selected for large commercial roofing and industrial projects needing maximum continuous throughput. It replaces the earlier JYYJ-H800; field H800 units remain supported.
